Broadleaf Digital publishes three ways to pay on its site, an hourly rate, a monthly plan from $2K, and a commission based model. Flapen charges one flat monthly fee by product count, employs all 50 operators, and launches brands from zero. Eight questions separate the two models.
The short version
- Broadleaf Digital publishes its prices. Its pricing page states $150 per hour a la carte and $2K per month on its startup plan, as of September 2026.
- The startup plan carries a stated ceiling. Its site states it moves to enterprise pricing once monthly sales exceed $80,000.
- Some services sit outside the retainer. Its pricing page notes certain services may entail additional fees.
- Flapen puts every service in one price. All 50+ services at every tier, $800 to $2,400 a month by product count.
- Traffic decides this hire. Five channels exist, most sellers run two, so ask which of the five a company runs.
What Broadleaf Digital says it offers
Everything in this section comes from two pages on broadleafdigital.com, captured on 5 September 2026.
Its home page title reads business consulting for the digital age, and the headline under it names a full-service Amazon agency. A line beneath states that from product launches to ad campaigns it provides a one stop solution for your brand on Amazon.
Six service headings organize that page: Set Up, Launch Strategy, Design and Branding, Marketing, Inventory Management, and Brand Management. Under brand management its site states a dedicated team serves as an extension of your brand, managing day to day operations of your Amazon business.
Its marketing copy states that full funnel PPC campaigns and search engine optimization raise a product's visibility. Its closing block states that a discovery call comes with a free Amazon listing and category analysis.
The second captured page is titled Pricing, under a heading reading Amazon growth with a plan that works for you. Its a la carte plan is stated at $150 per hour, its startup plan at $2K per month, and its enterprise model as commission based. A footnote states that price starts at $2K a month and can increase depending on catalog size.
Its site states the startup plan caters to small to midsize companies, and that it transitions to enterprise pricing once monthly sales exceed $80,000. It also states that some services may entail additional fees beyond the retainer. No partner badge, no team size, no marketplace outside Amazon, and no founding year appears on either page.
What Flapen offers
Read the exit terms before the pitch. On the day you leave Flapen you keep the account, the campaigns, the creative, and a written handover, on 30 days' notice. Deliverables become your property on full payment, and no non-compete sits on you.
Fifty operators sit on our payroll and carry about 70 brands, about 1.4 each, with sourcing in Guangzhou and creative in Dubai. Amazon brand management carries all 50+ services at every tier, $800 a month for one product to $2,400 for five.
Our system runs five steps: market, product, traffic, plan, launch. A market clears $2 million a year before we quote it. The product is engineered for 0.2 stars above the niche average.
Phase 1 puts 200 units live on $5,000 to $10,000.
Our science publishes 193,753 niches scored at the 2026-08-26 capture, 4.8% of them passing. Operators work inside tools we built for ads, marketing, and valuation, on the data layer our platform serves 15,000 sellers a month.

Where Broadleaf Digital may be the right fit
Fit here is scope and how you pay, never quality. A seller reading this page writes to me in one line: I don't have the profitability I expected. That seller wants a number before the call.
Its hourly rate suits a defined piece of work, and its site states it covers one off projects and coaching calls. Its startup plan is stated for small to midsize companies, so a brand under $80,000 in monthly sales can read which plan it sits in.
A brand we launched and run
Every store on flapen.com/results was built and launched through Flapen's Amazon FBA service. Grady's Pitching School sells baseball training equipment on Amazon, and Flapen runs its listings, ad campaigns, and weekly reporting under a Full Account Management membership. The headline figure is +30% year over year.
The outcome sentence reads: Untangling self-competing ad campaigns cut ACoS five points while sales rose 20% and held three months over profit target.
How to test both of us
Six stages, in order and in writing, to every company on your list and to mine. A stage opens when the answer before it clears its gate.
| Stage | The question to send | The gate that opens the next stage |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Channels | Which of the five traffic channels will you run? | Organic, paid, promotions, creator, and off-channel named |
| 2. Economics | What does a customer cost on each channel? | A cost per channel, never one blended number |
| 3. Order | Which channel goes live first, and what holds before the second? | A sequence with the trigger between them |
| 4. Staffing | Who runs each channel, and on whose payroll? | Roles named, cities named, subcontractors declared |
| 5. Stop | What makes you tell me to stop selling a product? | Four signals, read over 60 to 90 days |
| 6. Exit | What comes with me when I leave, and on what notice? | Account, campaigns, creative, notice in days |
A general answer at a gate ends the sequence there. If Flapen does not clear these six, do not hire us.
What most agencies will not tell you
One agency writing about another proves nothing, so run the six stages on me too. Money leaves a two channel account in a fixed order.
| Stage | What goes unsaid at that point | The gate that lets you move on |
|---|---|---|
| 1. The proposal | The scope lists deliverables, not traffic channels | The channels you will run, named, with a reason for each |
| 2. Month one | Reporting opens on spend, the fastest moving number | Sessions, conversion, and cost per customer, by channel |
| 3. Month three | A second channel gets discussed, never launched | One channel added, with its own budget and cost line |
| 4. Renewal | Notice and handover surface only when you leave | Notice in days and the exit list, inside the agreement |
Here is the part that cost me money. I fed a failing product for three months waiting for ads that never turned it around, and our four signals came from that quarter.
Broadleaf Digital alternatives
Four structures cover this purchase, and the structure decides more than the name on the invoice. Full service puts one team on the whole channel for a fee, and a specialist takes one function, usually the ad account. An in-house hire moves the skill onto your payroll, and software leaves the work with you.
