Hiring an agency in Britain changes three things: the hours you share, the language its team writes in, and the courts your contract names. It does not change the number that decides your account. Ask any firm, at home or abroad, how many brands the person running yours carries.
The short version
- The postcode is the weakest line on any proposal. It tells you where an office is registered, never who touches your listings.
- Caseload is the number to ask for first. 50 operators run about 70 brands here, which comes to about 1.4 brands each.
- Three things move with distance. The hours you overlap, the languages a team can write in, and the courts named in the agreement.
- Four things do not move. Caseload, the weekly read, the written stop rule, and what you keep on the day you leave.
- Tax, registration, and local trading requirements are your advisor's call. Confirm those with someone qualified where you trade, never on a sales call.
What distance changes and what it leaves alone
Distance moves a shorter list than sellers expect, and one item on it earns real money. That item is overlap. A team in a far time zone answers your Tuesday question on Wednesday, and a launch week loses a day at a time.
Everything else is a preference with a price tag. Compare your three options on the same four columns.
| The option | Hours you share | Brands the person carries | What you keep if it ends |
|---|---|---|---|
| An agency in Britain | Your whole working day | Ask for it in writing | Ask for the terms in writing |
| An agency in another country | Part of your working day | Ask for it in writing. Ours is about 1.4 | Ours: the account, the campaigns, the creative, and a written handover |
| One in-house hire | Every hour you pay for | One brand, one person's range | Everything, until they resign |
Flapen figures as of September 2026. The middle two columns are the ones an address cannot answer.
The rule reads in one line. Choose on hours only after two candidates have tied on caseload and on what leaving costs you.
The caseload number that decides your account
"My product is live but sales are not where they should be." Sellers running one to three products at $5K to $30K a month send me that sentence more often than any other. It is almost never a country problem.
Attention is the mechanism underneath it. A manager holding twelve brands gives each one a place in a queue, so your account gets touched when something breaks. A manager holding one or two works on a schedule, so problems surface before they cost a week.
That is why we publish the ratio. 50 operators run about 70 brands here, about 1.4 brands each as of 4 September 2026, with nothing subcontracted, sourcing and quality control in Guangzhou, and creative studios in Dubai.
The ratio buys a cadence you can check. A written update lands in Slack every week, a live review runs every second week, and access sits open in between. After onboarding the account costs you about 2 hours a month, and 4 to 6 hours a week while a product is launching. Onboarding itself aims at measurable ACoS improvement inside 30 days.
One account on our books answers the distance question directly. SnoreLessNow moved TACoS from 10.8% to 9.9%, and the results page reads A multichannel sleep brand at six-figure weekly revenue. Ad efficiency improved while expanding into Walmart and the UK. The team on it works from Abu Dhabi.
Amazon agencies UK sellers shortlist, and how the fee is set
Read every quote against what it includes and what it is indexed to. Ours runs $800 a month for one product, $1,150 for two, $1,500 for three, $1,950 for four, and $2,400 for five. Six products or more get scoped on a call.
All 50+ services sit at every tier. There is no commission, no revenue share, and no onboarding fee, and the first invoice covers the first and last month upfront. Above $50,000 a month in profit we move to 10 to 20% of profit with no fixed fee.
The fee is set by product count, never by marketplace count. We work across all 23 Amazon marketplaces and produce content in English, German, Spanish, and French, so adding a second marketplace changes the workload rather than the invoice. Ask any candidate whether their price moves when your marketplace list grows.
What an agency near you will not tell you
An address is evidence of a lease. It is not evidence of the three things sellers assume it proves, and each has a line that settles it.
| What the address implies | What it does not prove | Our answer, September 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| We are down the road from you | Anyone has stood in front of your product | Sourcing and quality control sit in Guangzhou, on our own payroll |
| We know your market | The person on your account worked it recently | 50 operators, about 70 brands, all 23 Amazon marketplaces |
| We are easy to reach | Anyone is free at the hour you call | A written update weekly, a live review every second week, Slack access in between |
Flapen figures as of September 2026. Column three is the one to demand from every firm on your list.
The rule reads in one line here too. A firm that will not put its own third column in an email inside one working day has confirmed an address and nothing else.
Two silences are worth naming. A registered office and a delivery team often share no staff, so ask which named employees sit at that address. A familiar governing law is worth less than a short notice period, so ask what the paperwork does on the day you disagree.
Ours reads Flapen - FZCO under UAE law and Dubai courts, month to month on 30 days' notice, and you keep the account, the campaigns, the creative, and a written handover. Read it with your own advisor alongside your local requirements. If that reading says run the account yourself, run it yourself.

One free thing to do this week, if you run one to three products at $5K to $30K a month. Email every firm on your shortlist, mine included, with three lines and nothing else: how many brands will the person on my account carry, who inspects my goods and where do they sit, and what would make you tell me to stop spending.
Give them one working day to reply. What comes back is your shortlist, already in order.
