Pallet Calculator

Enter your unit size and how many units go in one box. The calculator finds the most compact arrangement of whole units, in the unit's best orientation. Then it sizes the tightest carton that holds them. It caps the count at Amazon's limit of 150 units per carton. Awkward counts get a compact box with a small void instead of a long, thin one.

Cartons stack upright on the pallet footprint in even layers. They go up to the fixed height of the shipping mode you picked. The tool shows cartons per layer, the number of layers, and the total cartons and units per pallet.

Each mode is a fixed shipping envelope with its own footprint and height. Air is a 125×96 in ULD pallet up to 64 in tall. Truck is a 48×40 in road/FBA pallet up to 72 in. Sea is a 48×40 in pallet stacked up to 94 in for an ocean container. Truck and Sea also show how many pallets fit the matching trailer or container.

It is the share of the fixed pallet volume your cartons fill. The calculator splits it into floor space filled and stack height used. Floor space filled is how much of the footprint one layer covers. Stack height used is how tall your stack is against the maximum. Multiply the two and you get the overall utilization. Empty space is air you pay to ship.

Yes. Switch between inches and centimetres at any time. Your entered measurements convert automatically, so changing units never changes the physical size of your product or carton.

No. A loaded pallet can only stand upright and rotate 90° on the floor. So the pallet and vehicle counts match how freight is really loaded. A carton bigger than the pallet footprint does not fit. Nor does a pallet taller than the vehicle interior, exactly as in real life.
