We're looking for a experienced Video Editor who turns products into scroll-stopping, high-converting video. You'll own the full video suite for our private-label brands — from Amazon listing videos that show shoppers exactly how a product works, to ad creatives with hooks strong enough to stop the thumb and drive clicks. You're a visual storyteller with a real eye for pacing, composition, and brand consistency. This isn't a "cut to the beat" role. We need someone with real taste and an instinct for structure: what makes a hook land, how to hold attention, and how to make a product feel like a must-buy. You're also AI-forward: genuinely excited by generative video and already creating your own with the latest models.

What You'll Do

  • Edit Amazon listing videos that clearly demonstrate the product in use — problem, solution, benefit — so shoppers get it in seconds
  • Create ad videos for Amazon (Sponsored Brands video) and social (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) built around strong hooks and high CTR
  • Structure every video with intention: hook in the first 1–3 seconds, clear pacing, and a payoff that converts
  • Produce trending, modern, attention-grabbing content that feels native to each platform
  • Add motion graphics, kinetic text, captions, sound design, and effects that elevate — not decorate
  • Edit for sound-off viewing (captions, visual storytelling) where the platform demands it
  • Generate original AI video — lifestyle scenes, B-roll, motion from product stills, backgrounds, and AI UGC-style ads
  • Use AI across the whole workflow to work faster and sharper, while keeping the product itself accurate — AI is for the scene and the hook; the product on screen stays real (misleading video kills trust and drives returns on Amazon)
  • Maintain brand consistency across every client — typography, graphic treatments, pacing, and visual style
  • Handle color correction, audio editing, and finishing so every file exports platform-ready
  • Repurpose one shoot into multiple formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) without losing impact
  • Manage multiple video projects at once while delivering on-time and on-brand
  • Stay current on editing trends, AI video tools, and motion techniques — and bring the best new ideas to the team
  • Collaborate with Brand Managers, Photographers, and Ops to align every cut with strategy

What Makes You a Fit

  • A strong reel showing Amazon/eCommerce and/or social video work — hooks, retention, and conversion, not just pretty cuts
  • Deep understanding of video structure and storytelling: hooks, pacing, retention, and CTA placement
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; comfort with Canva & CapCut for fast, trend-driven social edits
  • A real eye for what's trending — audio, formats, transitions, editing styles — and the taste to know what fits the brand vs. what's just noise
  • Motion graphics / animation chops for explainer-style listing videos
  • Passion for custom, high-impact editing — taste over templates
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, async team
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and great with deadlines
  • A strong passion for AI and hands-on ability to generate AI video — you're already experimenting with the newest models and can prompt them into footage you'd actually ship

Bonus Points

  • Experience editing for private-label Amazon brands
  • Deep knowledge of platform best practices for:
    • Amazon listing videos (product-in-use, sound-off)
    • Amazon Sponsored Brands video & PPC creatives
    • TikTok / Reels / Shorts ad structure

What We Offer

  • Remote-first, async-friendly work setup
  • Ownership of your projects with zero micromanagement
  • Growth-focused team that values speed and creativity
  • Competitive pay, performance-based bonuses, and career growth opportunities
