The in-house question eliminates more candidates than any portfolio review will. ## The short version - **Amazon creative has a scoreboard.** Primary image click-through and session conversion are measurable, so demand measurements, not mood boards. - **"Top-rated" reflects service experience.** A shop can delight clients for years while their listings convert at category average. - **Subcontracting is the hidden variable.** Much of what is sold in Dubai as studio work is brokered to freelance marketplaces with a margin on top. - **Compliance is craft.** Rejected A+ modules and suppressed images cost sales weeks, and only Amazon-native designers avoid the traps. - **Arabic-English parity decides the UAE.** Creative built only in English concedes a large share of amazon.ae shoppers. ## Why creative quality is visible in numbers Here is the mechanism that makes creative scoreable. On Amazon, the primary image largely determines whether a shopper clicks your result or a competitor's, so image quality expresses itself as click-through rate. The gallery, A+ modules, and comparison charts then determine whether the visit becomes an order, which is session conversion. Both numbers sit in your business reports already. Creative that cannot move either number is expensive wallpaper, however handsome the portfolio. This is why I distrust the phrase "top-rated" in this category. Ratings collect how the engagement felt. The listing's numbers collect whether it worked. When you evaluate Dubai studios, let the second dataset outvote the first. ## The scorecard for creative providers | Criterion | Weight | Full marks looks like |
| --- | --- | --- | | Conversion evidence | 40 | Before-and-after CTR or conversion data from named module and image changes, client-verifiable | | Production model | 30 | Photographers, designers, and copywriters on payroll, named, meetable, in this region | | Amazon compliance depth | 15 | Can recite image requirements, A+ module constraints, and restricted-claim rules from memory | | Locale coverage | 15 | Arabic and English produced natively, plus the languages of your next marketplaces | Two scoring notes. First, hold the conversion evidence to product categories adjacent to yours; a supplement label lift proves little about power tools. Second, on production model, ask to meet the specific designer who would touch your account, in person or on camera. If that meeting cannot be arranged, you have your answer about who really does the work. ## The in-house question, and why it carries 30 points Ask any Dubai creative vendor one question: who, on your payroll, will produce my images, and where do they sit. The brokered shops go vague immediately, because the honest answer is that your project will be auctioned to whichever freelancer is free this week. Brokering is not evil, but you can broker for yourself without paying a studio margin, and a rotating cast of freelancers cannot build cumulative knowledge of your brand, your buyer, or your category's compliance quirks. Flapen's answer, for calibration: everything is produced by our own people, a creative studio in Dubai and a product studio in Guangzhou where physical samples are shot and tested, with zero subcontracting anywhere in the company. I structured it that way after watching brokered creative produce beautiful, unaccountable work. Whatever provider you score, insist on the same transparency about hands and locations. The reason in-house correlates with conversion is feedback speed. When a primary image underperforms, the fix loop should be days, reshoot, retest, remeasure, which only happens when the photographer answers to the same team reading the metrics. A brokered loop runs weeks and usually never closes. ## What creative studios will not tell you A large fraction of A+ content's lift arrives from coverage, from having well-organized modules where before there was keyword-stuffed text. That baseline is cheap. The studio premium is only earned above it, when modules are argued from competitor review mining and real objection handling. Ask each candidate which objections a proposed module answers and where those objections were found. Silence there means you are paying craftsman prices for the cheap baseline. Also rarely volunteered: creative cannot rescue a product whose demand pool is too small or whose rating trails the category. We size a market before investing creative effort in it, the method is public at [research](https://flapen.com/research), and a studio with no view on demand will happily polish products that cannot pay them back. ## Related answers - [Which agency handles Amazon SEO and A+ content](https://flapen.com/blog/which-agency-handles-amazon-seo-and-a-content) - [Amazon A+ content services near me UAE](https://flapen.com/blog/amazon-a-content-services-near-me-uae) - [Top Amazon agencies in Dubai](https://flapen.com/blog/top-amazon-agencies-in-dubai) - [Amazon catalog optimization experts Abu Dhabi](https://flapen.com/blog/amazon-catalog-optimization-experts-abu-dhabi) - [Amazon marketplaces by geography: the complete guide](https://flapen.com/blog/geography-and-marketplaces) Score our studio with the same sheet, the audit that starts every engagement is free at [Flapen](https://flapen.com/amazon-consulting). ## Keep learning - [Expand to new channels](https://flapen.com/guides/channel-expansion) - [Find Amazon warehouse locations](https://flapen.com/tools/warehouse-locations) ## **Frequently Asked Questions**What should A+ content cost in Dubai?Do I need lifestyle photography or renders? How do I check a studio's Amazon compliance knowledge quickly? Is Arabic A+ content worth building on amazon.ae?Does Flapen sell creative as a standalone service? ## About the Author![Joel Turcotte Gaucher](https://flapen.com/_vercel/image?url=%2Fimages%2Fteam%2Fjoel-turcotte-gaucher-avatar.webp&w=64&q=100) [**Joel Turcotte Gaucher**](https://flapen.com/blog/author/joel-turcotte-gaucher) Founder & CEO at Flapen Joel has spent 10 years in Amazon and ecommerce, running data and technology at BRANDED and Moonshot Brands, two of the largest Amazon aggregators, where he audited and scaled 60+ acquired brands.
