We cover all 23 marketplaces.","A global package should price by product count and marketplace count separately, name the languages it produces content in, and state who owns compliance in each region. We work across all 23 Amazon marketplaces and publish content in English, German, Spanish, and French. Everything else is translation dressed up as expansion.

## The short version

- **Ask which marketplaces are staffed, not which are supported.** Every agency supports all of them on a website.
- **Native content is the differentiator.** Keyword architecture does not survive machine translation.
- **Price the second marketplace separately from the second product.** They are different units of work.
- **Every new market needs its own kill criteria.** A market that does not work should be closed, not subsidized.
- **Compliance ownership belongs in writing.** Regional requirements are not an advertising problem.

## Ten things a global package must specify

Work through this before comparing prices. A package that cannot answer these is a domestic package with an ambitious name.

1. **Which marketplaces are in scope**, listed individually. Done properly means named countries, not regions.
2. **Which languages content is produced in natively.** Done properly means a writer working in the language, not a translation pass. We produce in English, German, Spanish, and French.
3. **How keyword research is done per market.** Done properly means research conducted in-language, because search behavior does not translate even when words do.
4. **Who owns regional compliance and labeling.** Done properly means a named owner and an escalation path, agreed before listings go live.
5. **How inventory is planned per market.** Done properly means separate forecasts, because a stockout in one market does not politely wait for the others.
6. **How pricing is set per market.** Done properly means local competitive positioning, not a converted domestic price.
7. **How advertising budget is allocated across markets.** Done properly means each market has its own budget and its own targets.
8. **What reporting looks like per marketplace.** Done properly means market-level lines, not one blended global figure that hides two failing countries.
9. **What the fee is for market two, three, and four.** Done properly means a number, given before you commit to market one.
10. **What closes a market.** Done properly means written criteria. This is the one everybody skips.

## The criteria that close a market

I learned this the expensive way. Early on I poured money into a failing product for three months, convinced that better advertising would turn it around. It did not. The money was gone, and the only thing I got back was a rule.

The rule is that scale, fix, and kill criteria are written down before spending starts, and evaluated on a defined window rather than a feeling. The inputs are rating trend, return rate, conversion rate, and the trajectory of customer acquisition cost. Multi-market expansion is where this discipline matters most, because a second and third marketplace multiply the number of places money can quietly drain.

| Signal over the defined window | Scale | Fix | Kill |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rating trend | Stable or rising | Slipping, cause identified | Falling with no identified cause |
| Return rate | At or below category norm | Above norm, product change possible | Above norm, structural to the product |
| Conversion rate | Improving with traffic | Flat, page fixes untried | Flat after page fixes |
| Acquisition cost trajectory | Falling as rank builds | Flat, targeting untuned | Rising with spend |

Ask any agency proposing a global package what would make them tell you to close a market. The answer separates operators from salespeople faster than any credential.

## Pricing the expansion honestly

Two things drive cost: products and marketplaces. Our fee is tiered by product count, from $800 a month for one product to $2,400 for five, with six or more scoped on a call, and multi-market work is scoped in that conversation rather than sold as a separate global tier.

What does not change with geography is the fee structure itself: no commission, no revenue share below $50,000 a month in profit, no onboarding fee, and month-to-month terms with 30 days' notice in every market. What does change is your capital requirement. Each new marketplace needs its own inventory, its own creative adaptation, and its own launch advertising, and a full brand launch runs around seven months before it settles.

## What most agencies will not tell you

Expansion is the easiest upsell in this industry because it sounds like growth and it is measured in new revenue rather than in returns on capital. Adding a marketplace almost always produces some sales. The question nobody asks in the pitch is whether that revenue clears its own cost of capital, or whether it is quietly funded by the market that already works.

The second thing: language coverage claims are rarely audited. Ask to see a live listing the agency wrote in the target language and have a native speaker read it. This takes an afternoon and it settles the question permanently. Machine-translated bullets read as competent and convert as foreign, and the gap does not show up in a fee comparison.

## Related answers

- [Best model for launching in Europe marketplaces](/blog/best-model-for-launching-in-europe-marketplaces)
- [Europe-focused Amazon brand management costs](/blog/europe-focused-amazon-brand-management-costs)
- [Global Amazon brand management pricing vs US-only](/blog/global-amazon-brand-management-pricing-vs-us-only)
- [How to launch your first product on Amazon](/blog/how-to-launch-first-product-on-amazon)
- [Amazon agency pricing and economics: the complete guide](/blog/pricing-and-economics)

Marketplace coverage, languages, and tier pricing are published at [Flapen](/amazon-consulting).

## Keep learning

- [Compare Amazon business models](/guides/business-models)
- [Value your Amazon business](/tools/business-value-calculator)
","published","working-with-agencies",[14,15,16,17],"amz-expansion","listing-setup","fees","keyword-strategy","joel-turcotte-gaucher","/images/blog/clusters/pricing-and-economics-08.jpg","2026-09-04T03:12:51.798+00:00
[23,27,31,35,39
"global-amazon-agency-packages-for-multi-market-expansion-faq-1","Products, in most cases, if your current market still has room.
