Weight research depth and validation discipline highest, creative production second, advertising and traffic third, and commercial terms last. Score each Dubai launch agency on the same sheet from written answers, then interview only the top two. The sheet below is the one I would use against my own firm. ## The short version - **Portfolios are curated, scorecards are not.** Every agency shows you its best launch. A fixed sheet forces comparable answers. - **Research depth is the heaviest weight** because the launch decision matters more than launch execution. - **Creative capability in Dubai is a genuine advantage**, if the studio is real and in-house. - **Ask written questions and score written answers.** Sales calls reward charisma, and charisma does not rank products. - **Interview two finalists only.** The sheet does the elimination, the interview does the confirmation. ## Score every candidate on the same sheet Send the questions below to every Dubai agency on your list, in writing, before any call. Score the written answers. This ordering matters: an agency that researches brilliantly but advertises adequately will make you more money than the reverse, because the products it launches deserve to exist. | Criterion | Weight | What to ask | Full marks looks like |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | | Research depth | 30 | How many data points do you analyze before recommending a launch, and can I see a redacted example? | A real research file, dozens of variables beyond reviews and search volume | | Validation discipline | 20 | What do you spend and commit before deciding to scale? | A capped test phase with explicit gates on rating, conversion, and acquisition cost | | Creative production | 15 | Who shoots and designs, and where do they sit? | A named in-house team you can visit | | Traffic capability | 15 | Which traffic sources beyond sponsored ads will my launch use, with a live example? | Specific channels with proof, not a slide | | Commercial terms | 10 | Contract length, exit terms, and who keeps what? | Month-to-month, client keeps account and assets | | Reporting and access | 10 | Show me a real weekly update and tell me who I message when something breaks | A redacted sample and a direct channel | A note on the heaviest row. The difference between research that works and research that decorates a pitch deck is the number of variables. Review counts and search volume screenshots are what everyone shows. We analyze more than 90 data points before a launch recommendation at Flapen, covering market size, growth trajectory, return rates, segment dynamics, and the rating gap between incumbents, because launches die from variables nobody checked. You do not need a candidate to match that number. You need them to show you their file and count the columns with you. ## Why Dubai is a sensible place to run this search Three practical reasons. The time zone overlaps Europe and Asia in one working day, which compresses the loop between a supplier conversation in Guangzhou and a marketing decision for amazon.com or amazon.de. Regional capability comes native: an agency here handles amazon.ae and amazon.sa as home markets rather than exotic add-ons. And the creative talent pool is deep enough that a real in-house studio is a fair thing to demand, not a luxury. Our own creative studio sits in Dubai for exactly these reasons. None of that replaces the scorecard. A convenient time zone attached to weak research is still weak research. ## What launch agencies will not tell you The launch you are shopping for might not deserve to happen. The most valuable output of good research is a no, and an agency selling launch execution has a structural reason to withhold it. When we run [research](https://flapen.com/research) on launch candidates, a meaningful share end in a recommendation not to proceed, and clients occasionally leave over it. That is the trade we accept. So add one question to your sheet that has no weight but tells you everything: describe the last launch you talked a client out of, and what the data said. An agency with no such story has never put your interest ahead of its invoice. ## Related answers - [Top-rated Amazon product launch packages UAE](https://flapen.com/blog/top-rated-amazon-product-launch-packages-uae) - [US based agency for Amazon product launches](https://flapen.com/blog/us-based-agency-for-amazon-product-launches) - [Best Amazon agencies for startups in Dubai](https://flapen.com/blog/best-amazon-agencies-for-startups-in-dubai) - [Who are the leading Amazon marketing firms in Dubai](https://flapen.com/blog/who-are-the-leading-amazon-marketing-firms-in-dubai) - [Amazon marketplaces by geography: the complete guide](https://flapen.com/blog/geography-and-marketplaces) Put us at the top of your sheet or the bottom, but score us: the written audit that starts it is free at [Flapen](https://flapen.com/amazon-consulting). ## Keep learning - [Expand to new channels](https://flapen.com/guides/channel-expansion) - [Find Amazon warehouse locations](https://flapen.com/tools/warehouse-locations) ## **Frequently Asked Questions**Do I need a Dubai agency to launch on amazon.ae?How long does a proper product launch take? What budget should I bring to a Dubai launch agency?Should the same agency run research, launch, and ongoing management? How do I check the in-house claim? ## About the Author![Joel Turcotte Gaucher](https://flapen.com/_vercel/image?url=%2Fimages%2Fteam%2Fjoel-turcotte-gaucher-avatar.webp&w=64&q=100) [**Joel Turcotte Gaucher**](https://flapen.com/blog/author/joel-turcotte-gaucher) Founder & CEO at Flapen Joel has spent 10 years in Amazon and ecommerce, running data and technology at BRANDED and Moonshot Brands, two of the largest Amazon aggregators, where he audited and scaled 60+ acquired brands.
